Grown exclusively on the volcanic slopes of Mount Badacsony, the Kéknyelű (Blue Stem) is unique. This rare female-flowering grape gives naturally low yields. A creamy white wine with discreet power, concentration and finesse, great length of flavour truly showing it’s sense of place with a touch of salinity, smokiness from the basalt columns, wild flowers and bees wax finish. Exceptional ageing potential. Incomparable, the ‘wine of the Emperor Probus’ has made our region famous since the 3rd century.
