Zinfandel Blush is the Las Vegas of the wine world. An unapologetic show-stopper which offers an unpretentious response to our need for simplicity and diversion, it has certainly justified its place in the wine world's big tent in recent years. Due to massive demand, we could not secure enough grapes in California, so we sourced from the natural home of the Zinfandel, Italy's Puglia area, where the grape is known as Primitivo. Your Friday night is sorted!

The grapes were trained on a cordon system, with canopy management ensuring the grapes reach optimum maturity prior to harvesting. The soils in the vineyard are clay and limestone, which have a cooling effect on the vines and produce bold wines.

The grapes were destemmed, followed by the fermentation, which took place in temperature controlled stainless steel tanks at a low temperature. It was then macerated on the skins for 18 hours, imparting the rich fruity flavours to the final wine.

Classic red berry and pink grapefruit aromas augmented by hints of black pepper and wild herbs. A smooth, medium style rosé, its delicate berry flavours have a refreshing citric edge and light peppery spice.
