Quinta de Quercus is a 44 hectare estate located in the DO Uclés. The estate is situated at 800 metres above sea level in an area of outstanding natural beauty, in the heart of Castile. This contemporary Spanish producer produces exquisite single vineyard and single varietal wines from parcels of low yielding 30 year old Tempranillo vines. The vineyard is cultivated according to sustainable practices and respects the biodiversity of the estate. Winemakers Tao Platón and Sam Harrop hand craft perfectly balanced wines which are elegant and terroir driven, while showing depth, complexity and a great capacity to age
