THE WINE SHOP
We are the Island’s new and vibrant independent wine merchant. With 45 years experience in the wine trade, we have worked with our suppliers to put together a range of over 600 wines from around the world. We have wines from the classic regions to those from the emerging countries such as Macedonia and Croatia.
All wines are available to buy by the bottle or the case.
Pop in & browse the range. We deliver Island wide, free of charge for orders of 12 bottles or more. £5 per address for less than 12 bottles.

OUR STORY
Over 10 years after the birth of the renowned Macfarlane's Restaurant, we bring you a brand new concept for the Isle of Man.
Combining Roy’s 39 years experience in the kitchen with Anne’s 44 years working with wine, we bring you excellent quality food to share (or not!) and some of the finest wines to match. The wines are available by the bottle or you can try different wines by the glass to match your menu choices. With over 300 wines to choose from, Anne or another member of the team will be on hand to help you select one to suit your palate.
All the senior team are qualified to WSET Level 2 and are able to advise on wine.
If you are interested in gaining a globally recognised WSET qualification, please get in touch.
Wine Down is the only accredited wine school on the Island.
